Inspiration behind the work:
Reflecting on 2025, a profound year for me, marked by both loss and self-evolution. A process of integration and lifelong inspiration, which became the impetus behind “Love Letter.”
As an Empath, I grew up hyper-sensitive to everyone’s energy before understanding my own. Self-abandonment was survival. Perfection and performance, knee-jerk. I don’t live in this place anymore, but I deeply value who I had to be to be where I am today.
The simple yet complex truth is that I have always dreamt of the person I am today. The love I feel within is more profound than anything I have perceived outside of myself.
We are taught to question our hearts, and yet, the heart’s greatest desire is to trust the world and be vulnerable. The heart knows any hurt can be healed. Love is the most authentic expression and language of the heart.
Once integrated, the heart learns safe places to be full and expressive. We do not have to fear any parts of ourselves. There is only the student and the teacher, both of whom exist within ourselves. For me, my heart is the safe place I lean into, lead with, and trust.
“Love Letter” can be flipped horizontally or vertically. I’ll be posting both versions.
